Most patients will describe the feeling of cupping as weird, relaxing or like an inside out massage. Sometimes you will bruise or the area we cup will look very red or almost purple.

Cupping therapy is an ancient Chinese Medicine therapy in which a cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup is reduced (either by heat or suction) to draw and hold skin and superficial muscles inside the cup.

Yes, you can. Once you have paid for your session, we will issue you with an invoice/receipt that you can then scan and upload in your health Fund App to receive a health refund. The amount that you are reimbursed depends on your health fund.

This is a difficult question to answer, and it will depend on your symptoms and how long you have experienced them.
Generally, though we like to see you weekly for 2 or 3 sessions and then we pace these out to fortnightly and monthly. Once you notice a change in your condition you will have all the tools to manage it yourself- acupressure points that we teach you, somatic practices that we show you and gut health and lifestyle modifications along side your herbs.
