Emily Biasotto
Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Emily is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner with a Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine) from Torrens University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (Applied Mathematics) from the University of Melbourne/University of St Andrews (Scotland).
When Emily started practising yoga, she noticed aspects of Chinese Medicine theory peppered through classes (particularly Yin). Her curiosity drove her to book an acupuncture treatment and by the end of that same week, she had enrolled to study. Since then, she has been in awe of the brilliance and sophistication of Chinese Medicine, its ability to explain many nuanced things about the human body and its deep connection to Nature. Most of all, she fell in love with herbs during her studies and and it's one of her most favourite things to create formulas for her patients.
Emily offers warm and nurturing treatments, but will also be your Chinese Medicine cheerleader! Studying maths made her a keen problem solver, and she loves supporting her patients to feel their very best by creating treatments that are tailored specifically to them (because this is the real magic of Chinese Medicine).
Emily loves to support patients with:
Fertility (all gender) + IVF
Pregnancy
Women's Health (menstrual cycle and menopause)
Sleep, Stress + Fatigue
Gut Health
Immune Support
Outside the clinic, Emily loves listening to podcasts, practising yoga, cooking, singing, going to see theatre or comedy shows and spending time with her family and friends.
